Validation and verification
In the software industry, the following key concepts related to quality assurance are validation and verification
- Validation - Is the solution made what the customer has ordered?
Usually done by the client / project sponsor and with it the output is accepted or rejected
- Verification - Is we doing what was originally designed?
The purpose of the review is to determine whether the implementation is in line with the original plan. Inspection can take place in the project team
